This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Zajištovací stehy/ na pocátku/na konci výšivky
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Zajištovací stehy jsou extra stehy, které se pridávají pred zacátek a konec vyšívacích prvku. Jejich úcelem je zafixovat nit na míste a zabránit jejímu vytažení, když stroj zacne šít nebo orezávat (odstrihovat nite). Mely by se používat na konci jakéhokoli prvku v návrhu, kde budou následovat skokové (velmi dlouhé) stehy, napríklad pri zmene barvy nebo na konci vzoru. Vhodné nastavení zajištovacích stehu pro daný návrh pomuže udržet hladký prubeh vzoru i to, že zustanou v látce i po jejím vyprání.
