This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	3D weave
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	A 3 dimensional woven fabric, so a fabric in which the third dimension, which is normally very thin, is significant (up to 10 cm). Special weaving techniques are used for this, with fibers/yarns also running in this third, z dimension, called z-yarns or binder yarns.
