This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Thermisch comfort /Thermisch evenwicht
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Thermisch comfort is de condition van de geest die uitdrukt of er tevredenheid is met de thermische omgeving. Het wordt beoordeeld via subjectieve evaluatie. Thermisch evenwicht wordt bekomen wanneer de warmte die wordt gegenereerd door het menselijke metabolisme kan worden afgevoerd, waardoor het evenwicht met de omgeving behouden blijft. De thermische comforttemperatuur varieert meestal sterk van persoon tot persoon en is afhankelijk van factoren zoals activiteit, kleding en vochtigheid.
