OptimTex multilingual glossary of terms
This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Hoepel / Frame
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	De hoepel of het frame is gemaakt van kunststof of metaal waarmee stof stevig wordt vastgeklemd tussen een binnenring en een buitenring. De borduurring/frame is een geneste set ringen die het te borduren materiaal op spanning houden, net als een handborduurring. Machineborduurhoepels zijn echter ontworpen om de stof en de versteviging naar de onderkant van de binnenring te duwen en tegen het bed van de machine te houden en hebben bevestigingen waarmee de borduurring aan de pantograaf van een machine kan worden bevestigd. De pantograaf beweegt in x- en y-richtingen en maakt het borduurmotief.
