OptimTex multilingual glossary of terms
This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Pontos de travamento/ tie-in/tie-off
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	São pontos extras adicionados antes do início (tie-in) e no final (tie-off) dos elementos do bordado. O objetivo é travar a linha no lugar e evitar que ela se solte quando a máquina começar a costurar ou aparar (cortar a linha). Ele deve ser utilizado no final de qualquer elemento no design onde pontos de salto se seguirão, como mudança de cor ou no final de um design. Definir os pontos de agarrar de maneira adequada para o design ajudará a mantê-lo a funcionar sem problemas, além de permanecer no tecido após a lavagem.
