This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	IDE
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Os elétrodos interdigitais (IDEs) são estruturas paralelas condutivas utilizadas como transdutores em várias aplicações tecnológicas e analíticas, especialmente no domínio dos sensores biológicos e químicos. Também podem ser usados como elemento de deteção para detetar fugas de água. No nosso caso particular, as IDEs consistem em dois longos fios paralelos condutores com um estreita fosso entre eles. Quanto mais longos fios condutivos paralelos e o fosso mais estreito a sensibilidade do sensor é maior.
