This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Scurtcircuit
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Un scurtcircuit este o conexiune anormala intre doua noduri ale unui circuit electric destinat sa fie la tensiuni electrice diferite. Fluxul de curent electric este limitat doar de rezistenta electrica a conductorului insusi. Acest lucru duce la functionarea gresita a circuitului electric, incalzirea excesiva si, eventual, distrugerea circuitului. in cazul circuitelor brodate, scurtcircuitul poate fi cauzat de: (i) aplicarea unei cantitati mari de adeziv conductiv pe placutele de contact, in special cu un mic spatiu de izolare; (ii) geometria gresita a modelului (distanta liniilor paralele sau a placutelor de contact mai mici de 2 mm) si (iii) insuficienta firelor intre placutele de contact in zona spatiului de izolare.
