This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.

EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Teksturo pri tkaninah imenujemo tudi topografija povrsine. Opisuje naravo povrsine, ki jo dolocajo razporeditev (prevladujoci vzorec povrsine), hrapavost povrsine (nepravilnosti povrsine) in valovitost (nepravilnosti z razmiki, ki so vecji od hrapavosti povrsine). Vsaka tkanina ima svojo teksturo, vendar jo je v programski opremi zelo tezko pravilno predstaviti, zato so za pridobitev dobre simulirane podobe tkanine potrebni priblizki. Od teksture je odvisno, kako se od tkanine odbija svetloba in kaksen otip je tkanine.
