This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.

EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Patent je izkljucna pravica, podeljena za izum, ki je lahko izdelek ali postopek, ki na splosno zagotavlja nov nacin izvedbe necesa ali ponuja novo tehnicno resitev problema. Za pridobitev patenta je treba tehnicne informacije o izumu razkriti javnosti v patentni prijavi. Patenti so ozemeljske pravice. Na splosno veljajo izkljucne pravice samo v drzavah ali regijah, v katerih je bil patent prijavljen in podeljen, v skladu z zakonodajo te drzave ali regije. (https://www.wipo.int/patents/en/)
