This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Spacer fabrics
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Spacer or sandwich fabrics are two distinct layers of fabric joined together either by cross threads (knit or tuck) or by fabric layers. In the case of developing structures with connection by knitted layers, these can be one, two or more, depending on the desired assembly cross section.
