This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.

EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Goede machine draad spanning is essentieel voor kwaliteits borduurwerk. Een draadspanning bij het vormen van steken moet worden ingesteld. Dit kan worden bereikt door de boven- en spoelspanningen los of strakker te maken. Veel borduurders gebruiken de 2/3-regel, wat betekent dat als u naar de onderkant van het borduurmotief kijkt nadat het is geborduurd, u ongeveer 2/3 bovendraad tot 1/3 onderdraad moet zien. Normaal gesproken is dit gemakkelijk te doen omdat de meeste borduursters een witte onderdraad gebruiken.
