This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Opvulsteek
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Opvulsteken worden gebruikt om grote gebieden in een ontwerp te bedekken. Ze hebben een plat uiterlijk en minder glans dan een satijnsteek, maar ze kunnen een gebied vullen dat veel groter is dan de satijnsteek en voorkomen de gegolfde textuur die bekomen wordt bij verschillende gebieden die zijn gevuld met overlappende satijnsteken. Door de hoek, lengte en richting van het gestikte patroon te wijzigen, kunnen verschillende soorten opvulpatronen ontstaan.
