This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	Contact pad
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	A Contact pad is an area of conductive material intended for connection with external circuits/ cables/power sources/SMD components etc. Contact between the contact pad and other components can be realized by soldering, wire-bonding, flip-chip mounting, metal snap fasteners or probe needles.
