This Glossary is meant to offer the students support for learning key textile terms of the 6 educational modules in all the languages of the project.
LANGUAGE	TERM	LED dioda
EN CZ NL PT RO SI	DEFINITION	Svetleca dioda (LED) je polprevodniski element, ki oddaja vidno svetlobo, ko je prikljucen na enosmerni tok. Ta svetloba nastane z oddajanjem energije, ki jo sproscajo elektroni med rekombinacijo z darovalci. Glede na polprevodnisko strukturo ima LED dioda anodni in katodni prikljucek. Zato je treba upostevati pravilno polariteto napetosti (anoda +, katoda -). Za LED diode je znacilen padec napetosti. Padec napetosti se spreminja glede na razlicne LED barve, ki so med 1,5 - 3,5 V. Glede na material diode le ta oddaja svetlobo dolocene valovne dolzine in s tem posebno barvo.
